It’s been almost 20 years since we last saw each other, probably 19.5 since we were last in touch, and he texted me today saying he didn’t know if I still had the same number but he hoped so because he had a dream about me last night and felt compelled to get in touch.
No big backstory. We dated for about 18 months in our late teens but drifted apart when I left on a gap year and didn’t want to do long distance. When I got back, he had found a job in London and moved so we kept in social media touch, but there was no big painful split. I met my now husband shortly after and we’re happily married so I have no desire to re-engage with a man from my past.
Nice to know I clearly left an impression 😁
Kind of curious to know what the dream was, though.
