Athens Hotel recommendations near the acropolis?

I will be travelling alone, and I don’t speak Greek, so I had been hoping to stay somewhere like the Marriott or Hilton where staff will probably understand me and be able to help with directions, recommendations etc.
These hotels seem to be a good 30-40 minute walk away from the Acropolis though, and I was hoping for somewhere closer. Does anyone know of anywhere that would fit the bill?

That’s where we stayed too. All the main sites were within easy walking distance.

I’d be surprised if there weren’t staff who speak decent English in most hotels though tbh.

The staff all spoke English, five mins walk to the entrance to the Acropolis, and the hotel restaurant had a lovely view of the Acropolis as I had breakfast. It was lovely.

I usually stay at Athens Studios - but rather fancy Coco-Mat Athens opposite (has a lovely rooftop pool looking at the Acropolis!) - everyone involved in tourism speaks English. I love Athens - enjoy 😊

Also loved this hotel (though, to be fair, I was there for work so didn't do much sightseeing but we did do a "field trip" to the acropolis and it was an easy walk).

I stayed here as a solo traveler. Budget, friendly and in safe walking area to acropolis. Athens is wonderful.

I just had a look at where the likes of the Marriott and Hilton are - as I suspected, out down a big main road which I seem to remember (from taking the hop on hop off tourist bus down to the coast) was not very nice.

I also recommend this hotel too. Fantastic location.

This place also great - lovely helpful staff and so close to acropolis. Great coffee at the Diogenes coffee shop just down the road!
