If you like pizza!

I have finally managed to create a decent little pizza base at home, and would love some inspiration for healthy toppings.

I am going to start with garlic, spinach, olives, tomato, peppers and mozzarella balls, with basil, various herbs, pepper.

Any alternative or more interesting ideas?

I'm making pizza tomorrow now based on this thread, lots of tasty ideas.

Chicken, sweetcorn, red onion and pineapple

Feta, red pepper, yellow pepper, baby spinach, red chilli (optional)

Prawns, tuna, mussels, fresh anchovies and black olives

I could go on, and I really want pizza now. It’s hard choosing one. I wish there was a place that did a really high quality pizza buffet, so you could have a taste of many different combinations. 🧐

Thinly sliced aubergine, courgette, a mix of wild mushrooms.

This, plus olives

I love fiorentina: spinach, egg and mozzarella.
Also love a sort of puttanesca pizza with tomato, onion, sliced peppers, capers, anchovies, chillies and black olives.
Or veggie pizza where I try to fit as many veg as I can onto tomato and mozzarella pizza base (sliced peppers, onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts) then add a heap of rocket and basil on top when it's out of the oven.

I had an amazing pizza last week, think it was ham mushroom and artichoke. Capriciosa? Might have to recreate. I make a great dough in the bread maker but my oven just can't get hot enough to cook pizza properly. Ancient range master.

I thinly slice courgette and baby aubergine, fry them in shallow pan with hot oil, garlic and chilli flakes.
I crumple up the aubergine to place on the pizza, and lay the courgettes on flat (like pepperoni).

Pear and Stilton.

Pear and Stilton.

I was going to say apple. Some fruits pair surprisingly well thinly sliced with some good cheese.

I really like broccoli on a pizza, cut it into small florets then put in a bowl and cover with freshly boiled water give five minutes. Drain and good to go on pizza. Artichokes, olives, peppers even asparagus. Not healthy by feta is nice on a pizza too. Such a strong flavour a little goes a long way compared to mozzarella.

That would be amazing. I do a pizza night at home where we end up having so many choices of topping, make pizza then everyone easts away at leftover toppings and by time pizza gets out oven aren’t even that hungry.

Homemade pizza is on the menu tonight. Our go to toppings are; mushrooms, red onion, red pepper, black olives, ham, pepperoni, bacon.
