All advice welcomed!
Reasonably new entrant to CS in policy and working for an intense team that personally (line management) and professionally has been a terrible fit for me - I’m sure you know how bad it can be and how the current SR freeze is limiting movement.
BUT I have scored an interview at SEO in my dream team where I have met people and got to know the vibe. I haven’t done an interview for ages and since I’m not a career-long CS veteran I do still struggle with getting those behaviours up to the 6 they might have to be.
I have the basics of finding a good example to fit into behaviours, but looking for info I’ve forgotten on mapping the associated strength vocab in and anything you’ve seen that really lifts an example.
My existing team are currently heavily recruiting at SEO level too and it is an amazing area which will get a lot of great applicants so I won’t even feel bad if I exit as I genuinely think they can easily replace me with a much better fit from reserve lists (hopefully they will see it this way although part of the personality fit issue is some quite difficult individuals).
Basically if I can JUST score this job I will exit gracefully and make everything better for everyone so help me do it!
