Please put some water out for the birds and other animals

Just that really. It’s been dry for a while and they need water just as much as we do.

Even a saucer of water on a garden table will help.

I always have water in my garden for birds and hedgehogs I have even seen bees and wasps having it too.

Got a full bird bath on a pedestal and a big saucer on the ground. Both get a lot of use by birds, cats, insects and probably badgers and foxes too.

I put a big pebble that pokes out of the water of my bird bath, so the insects have a perch to stand on whilst they have a drink..

have a dish of nice clean water out in the garden....and have spent the afternoon watching the halfwit birds strolling straight past it to drink from the gammy looking drain in the corner. No accounting for taste!

Pond with a mini waterfall, 3 ‘steps’. The birds all use the bottom and biggest step to wash in, drink. The starlings like to sit on the netting! The various breeds have a waiting room (nearby tree) where they all hang out awaiting their turn. It’s very entertaining. There isn’t normally so much algae on it, I yank it off regularly.

Absolutely agree, I’m a beekeeper, and my girls love a little drink from the fountain, I genuinely hope they see it as a cocktail bar 🐝🍸
