Help me recover after stomach bug

Just coming to the end of a horrendous stomach bug, spent the last three days either in bed or on the toilet with my head in a bucket. It’s been about 12 hours now without “incident” so I’m on the mend, but feeling awful- just weak and like the life has been sucked out of me.

I’m going to brave the shops soon to buy some supplies to help me recover, dioralyte, fruit (not up to eating proper meals yet but craving oranges). Any suggestions for anything I can buy that’ll help me feel human again? Vitamins, food, anything!

Go with your cravings. Chicken soup is always nourishing after being ill.

Just recovered from liquid stomach picked up on holiday. I started off on very plain white toast and built up to normal meals (which tend to be quite vegetable/fibrous) from there. Definitely needed something very very bland to start with. Added kefir fairly soon afterwards.
