Aged 50, metabolic age 59- how to lower it?

Had a health check recently and just had results back.
not too bad but BMI still high and need to (still!) lose weight, sleep more and build muscle.

metabolic age is 9 years older than my actual age, DH is 15 years more!!

anyone done similar test and lowered theirs?

any tips?

Presumably it’s the age old diet & exercise (or training and nutrition, as I prefer to think of it).

A good, unprocessed diet with a good amount of healthy proteins and lots of veg and beans.

Some weight lifting and some cardio. Lots of time outside.

It works. There’s no magic pill or supplement
