Is it a crashed plane? If you put Kontogenada in the search and go slightly north and on the coast you will see it

Oh wow, I've found it!
I think it must be in the air and the satalite has photographed it mid flight

Bartg · 05/04/2025 19:13

I wondered that. Can’t think of any other explanation

Other than of course a crashed plane. But surely that couldn’t have been missed

It's in very good condition to have crashed!
Nah, it's flying

MelainesLaugh · 05/04/2025 19:17

Am I the only person who can’t find it!

Bartg · 05/04/2025 19:18

You have to go on google maps. Not maps in your phone iyswim

Weird that you don’t see that all the time on maps. Maybe they remove them and missed this one.

It does look like the wings are underwater though 🤔

Pandimoanymum · 05/04/2025 19:29

Ha, just found it! I'm gonna assume it's flying. There's a group of people on Reddit who spot these for a hobby:

Oh that's fun :) I read something quite recently about another example and everyone seemed to conclude that it was just a regular flight being captured by another aircraft which is doing aerial photography, for more detailed mapping. If that's the case here then it's a nice coincidence that a passing aircraft below the 'camera-bearing' aircraft has been captured.

Nice find OP!
