DC (primary ages) loved it, DH and I thought it was terrible for the most part 😂 interested what anyone else thought if they saw it?

I quite enjoyed it, but then I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece.

My 21/18/16 kids went and they thought it was great….they have grown up with Minecraft so it’s their thing 😆

Is it suitable for a 4yo? A 4yo who scares easily

My 4 year old asked to go but I ended up taking the older kids and she went to the zoo with her dad instead. I was glad, as my 6 year old was a bit scared of some scenes.

Luckily our showing was early morning and more young kids, hardly any teens. So none of this yelling and cheering. I would have hated it if so.
Why are cinemas not throwing out anyone who behaves like this during a film?

Film was actually more enjoyable than I expected but I had very low expectations.

Went this morning with my 10, 8 and 6 year olds. I actually enjoyed it. It was quite camp and daft but then it reminded me of other films like Dungeons and Dragons.

I haven’t heard about this…they didn’t say it was noisy

We saw it yesterday, both boys loved it (age 5 and nearly 9).

I preferred it to the dogman movie and sonic 3 (I can't remember the last time I saw a non kids movie at the cinema!) Not as good as Wild Robot or Paddington 3 though.

I thought it was okay, wasn’t sure what was actually going on for most of it, liked the bits with Jennifer Coolidge. The kids thought it was brilliant though. We also had a bit of random screaming and clapping in the cinema, I had no idea it’s a TikTok thing.

I thought it was really good but I've liked everything Jack Black has done. My DD 7 plays Minecraft and wasn't scared. I was surprised it's more scarey than I expected.
I'd have to say for a kids film it's pretty fab.

I found it quite underwhelming overall. The storyline dragged a bit. I’d seen the lava chicken bit and assumed we would see more of Jack Black in his Tenacious D mode. Loved Jennifer Coolidge, and how she turns up in these ridiculous female roles - on some level she will always be ‘Stiffler’s mom’ for me, which felt like a giant Easter egg for our generation.

found the audience to be disruptive but not so many teens. Was appalled at the state of the cinema after. Really annoyed me.
