Ultra light/comfortable black school trousers for year 7?

I’m hoping someone can suggest the most comfortable black school trousers for my DS who only wears shorts (rain/snow etc) but has to wear smart black trousers for secondary in September. He’s got long legs.
I need one less battle with this transition so willing to spend anything! Thanks
