That'll be nice! I always get a soft toy for the kids as they love them! Love their plants though - always nice to look at and try to keep alive (in my case!)
Enjoy!!

They had lovely plants when I was there last week, and if you get a small vase (£1.50 I think) from there and a bunch of daffodils for £1 from a supermarket, you will have instant cheer 😊😁

Buy some of the frozen meatballs if they still sell them and they used to sell a nice elderflower cordial or juice drink. I like the slightly weird kitchen stuff.

They have some really nice, realistic fake plants (I cannot keep real ones alive). That and a nice pot to it would be my vote!

Have a look at duvet covers if you might need any, they have nice ones at very reasonable prices.

EarlofShrewsbury · 04/04/2025 10:33

Have you got a cat? They do these cute little cat houses that look like tents.

TheChosenTwo · 04/04/2025 10:34

The little daim (I call them dime!) bars by the tills 😋

lunaswand · 04/04/2025 10:45

Real plants. I murder mine, but at the price Ikea sells them, I just toss and replace every 8/12 months.

Pity you are not into food. The meatballs. I go and really stock up, meatballs, the sauce in a packet and the lingonberry sauce. As many meatball packs as I think freezer will hold and all the rest to suit the estimated meatball meals. Once the first kid spots it in the freezer, I have found they must message all their siblings as them they are all home for dinner and expecting it and excited. It amazes me, they gave licenses, drive and their own means of purchasing this stuff, yet don’t, but when they know I have it’s like they have all suddenly won the lottery 🤣🤣🤣.

ETA - I don’t use packet potato. Everything else is IKEA for the meals though, including the sparkling apple drink.

MercyChant66 · 04/04/2025 14:32

Too late for OP but just to say that the new scented candle (Tradcypress) smells just like freshly washed linen and at £1 is a lovely affordable treat! And the packets of mini cinnamon rolls at £1.95.

WickWood · 04/04/2025 14:38

I'm excited to see/hear what you bought!
