Ear infection and clogged ear

Back in dec I had an ear infection one outer then one inner. Since then I've had a blocked feeling in my ear, sometimes pain but mainly feels blocked. I've tried everything to unblock it to no avail.
My hearing test came back fine and I'm waiting for ENT but could be a long wait :(
Anyone else in the same boat? Thanks x

Yep similar but didn't have infection. Had a number of different tests at ENT but nothing came up. This was last year. Last month it got worse and had dizziness as well. As I'm on holiday it was Dr Google and advice from a knowledgeable friend who had had similar symptoms(later diagnosed with Menieres) that got me going to chiropractor. Apparently if your C1 / C2 vertebrae are out of sync it can cause problems. I'm 2 sessions in and not expecting miracles but if it helps....

The usual holding nose and blowing didn't work and don't even bother wasting your money on the balloon thing. Is your nose blocked or anything...maybe an antihistamine would work.

When my ear was blocked I paid to have it suctioned at specsavers. It was about 50 quid. They use a camera to check and show you. If they can't get it all in one appointment you can return for no extra cost. Well worth it to get my hearing back to normal.

That's interesting about the chiropractor. I'll look into it. I did buy an otovent balloon, it does open the eustation tube initially but the it closes again.
I haven't tried an anti histamine but will do .. is worth a shot. Thanks

I thought this only worked if your ears are blocked with wax. The doctor said mine could be the eustachian tube being blocked or swollen. Thanks
