Still not always acting mature in adulthood

Does anyone sometimes still act a bit silly and immature?

Like sometimes I act a bit immature at times and occasionally I like showing about stuff I've done and try and "big myself up".

I sometimes say crappy jokes as well.

Is this normal? Or do I need to grow up a bit?

I think people do this when they’re feeling a bit anxious or embarrassed in a situation.

Absolutely- and tbh if you didn’t act silly occasionally you would be very boring

I tell terrible jokes all the time and will until the day I die.

showing off is a bit different, I think, and maybe sounds like you’re lacking confidence.
