Questionnaires for autism/adhd

A few times when I've tried to describe the problems my child has, a few different people say to me she might have autism, have you thought about autism

But I look at the form (that I know I have fill out to get this) and the vast majority of the questions just aren't relevant. And just not indicative of us at all. Hardly any of it is

Does anyone else have this?

Goodness if you've managed to get to age 11 before shouting back you're doing miles better than me! x I seem to do that about once a week Blush

Being offered a parenting course doesn't mean that they think you're causing your DD's difficulties through bad parenting. It's offered because if you have a DC who struggles in some way, often the vast majority of parenting advice you can access through books/internet/own life experience won't work in the expected way, and you need a different kind of approach as well as some info about anxiety in order to support them.

Unfortunately I understand they are really underfunded and overloaded, and I'm not based in the UK any more, so I am not sure what else is offered. If paying privately for a child psychologist or therapy or occupational therapy would be an option, that might be something which is more immediately useful. If she is at secondary school, they might also have a school counsellor she could speak to but I think that's less likely at primary.

I have found some of these quite helpful if you can see any titles which might be relevant? https://courses.naomifisher.co.uk/
