Can anyone recommend a good quality firm mattress?

In Dec, I bought an Emma mattress - their top of the line one - based on online reviews. That was a mistake! It was marketed as firm but is basically a marshmallow. It is so soft I am returning it.

This time I plan to check out products IRL but if anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate!

Mine is Marks and Spencer - wool and silk and the best mattress I have ever had.

I am very happy with my Ikea one (the most expensive one, can't tell you what it was called)

I also, in the dim and distant past, had a lovely silent night one - so firm I could put a glass of water down next to me and roll over without spilling it.

Wool and Springs both of them, no latex/memory foam - I've gone off anything foam due to the issues you mention.

Try the orthopaedic ranges. You feel about 500 asking for those, but they are SO firm and yet deeply comfortable!

I have a Romantica one.

Okay thanks! Some brands to check out.

Yeah, so disappointed with Emma..
It is over £1500 normally but I bought in sale, and so rubbish!
