What’s the word for this type of material?

DS will only wear this type of jogging bottoms. They are a thick, shiny, smooth material- not fleecy, not crinkly, not the thin football shirt type material which clicks easily.

What would you search for when looking online for these? Thanks

Jersey?

Acunningruse · 31/03/2025 12:34

Thanks. I would say much thicker and smoother than jersey- but I just don’t know what to call it!

Is there a washing label inside as that usually tells you the ingredients.

Agree with PP, scuba.

I googled Rascal Joggers and it said they were made from fleece cotton.

i would search for football trousers. They are the slightly shiny material that is thicker than a football shirt. Like the adidas ones all the teen boys wear.

Sometimes this sort of material is called ponte (when it's leggings) I think.

beadystar · 31/03/2025 17:46

I think it's neoprene.

Tech fleece?
