Toddler Scooters. Which one is best?

DD 21 months is ready for her first scooter. She's 90cm tall and was able to balance and scoot whilst trying one out in a shop recently, so I don't think she needs one that has the inbuilt seats. But which one to buy?

10/12 years ago when I was nannying , Micro was pretty revolutionary with it's smooth wheels and tilt to steer action. But now Evo, Zinc and Globber all seem to have the same design but are substantially cheaper. Has anyone had a few of these and have advice to share? Or is there one your toddler has got on with in particular?

We picked up good-condition micros secondhand – always lots available near us, very good value. DD1 has now outgrown hers, and I expect we'll sell it on for what we paid.

I know the micro fits down to tiny sizes (DD2 was a bit mad and started riding it aged 15 months...), but I think the old globbers were quite a bit bigger, better at 3 than 2, so worth checking that with the current globber and other brands.

@skkyelark thank you. Did you find that the micro scooters still had.smooth wheels when getting second hand?

Yes, the wheels seem fine, even after quite a few more miles of use with us – they seem to be quite hard-wearing.

We had micro scooters and they rode them into the ground
They were worth every penny. Lasted years with no issues.

Thanks for the advice, managed to find a mini micro on eBay for £20.
