Are cheap egg chairs worth the money?

I really want one! But they are so expensive and I don't have much money to spend on one. Are the cheap ones worth it? I just want to go and sit in the sun in my tiny garden when I finish work.

WTF is an egg chair? OK I can google, wait a min.

OK now I know what they are, I have no idea, sorry for this useless post.

I brought one on Facebook marketplace. No idea what brand it is. It’s been great. I love sitting there swinging on it in the summer.

I've just got one, £159.99 on Amazon + a cover for an extra £20 + £30 for a local handyman to come and build it as neither DH nor I had the time nor inclination to build it. We haven't had the weather yet to use it though but we do sit out in the garden a lot when the weather is good. When I did test it, it was very nice and relaxing. They are big though! The egg bit does fold up if you need to store it away in a garage or shed or whatever.

I got one from birth and m a few years ago. Maybe 100 quid? I love it but it's not that sturdy so can topple if very heaven people use it. I'm only 5 foot 2, so great for me though!

I decided to bite the bullet and bought one from B&Q for £100. I'll report back!

Don’t bother with a cover. It turned mine into a sail, which constantly blew over in high wind.

if its those hanging ones, then yes i like them

So my cheap egg chair arrived yesterday. £99.99 from B&Q. But it seems it's not from them, it's from another company that are using their website. Anyway, I'm a 5'2 weakling but put it together ok myself in about 20 minutes during a boring webinar. It's sturdy enough. It's clearly mass produced and the thing about it being from B&Q is that you can't return it to them, you have to email the manufacturer to arrange a return, which doesn't sound great. And the price of it on their website changes every day, which is odd. But I've sat in it, and am happy enough, I think I'll get a lot of use out of it on sunny days.

Can I have the link

It's this one: https://www.diy.com/departments/cream-luxury-hanging-egg-chair-with-cushion/5034567874274_BQ.prd
It was £99.99 when I bought it, it's now it's £114.99 reduced down from £129.99. Not sure when it went up to £129.99 though! But still worth it.
