Not had a completely rubbish day but the Mother’s Day part was pretty disappointing. DD16 said she’d made me a card & it was still wet so bear with her but I haven’t seen it. No present either, even though DH offered yesterday to put some money on DD’s Go Henry card to buy something. And we didn’t go on our planned trip to The Donkey Sanctuary, although I think it would have been extremely busy & we can easily go another time. DM had a fall this morning - they are getting more frequent & DF may have to start thinking more seriously about moving her into a care home 😢 DD16 has been generally kicking off, trying to start an argument etc. I think she finds days like today difficult as she’s adopted. On the positive side, I treated myself to a bottle of AF gin & have had a couple of glasses with a lovely elderflower & blood orange tonic water. Spent quality time with the bunnies who also clearly didn’t get the memo that it’s Mothers Day 🤣🤣🤣 How about you guys?
