Inspire me with your Mother’s Day plans?

Dc want to take me out.. I’m not bothered about a pub lunch but want to do something fun in the sunshine. South east..
Inspo?

We’re having fish & chip lunch by the seaside

Age of DC? We are going to do an escape room together after lunch, but that's not in the sunshine. Anything traditionally "mumsy" (eg national trust places) will be very busy I would imagine.

My plan for the day; breakfast in bed (always a nicer idea in theory than in practice but that was 3yo DSs choice!) then we’re going out to a tulip farm so DS and I can skip around and generally have a marvellous time choosing my flowers, bloody love tulips, then fish and chips on the beach later, if the weather holds!

Ooh I love tulips. DS 12 will be bored though! 🤣

I’ve just been for a swim, home and showered and warming up under my heated blanket!
Dh is up but the dc will be in bed for a while yet.
All I’ve asked for is a walk, they can join me or not 😂 it’s beautifully sunny but my god that wind is cold. Dh and ds need to
go and do a bit of shopping ahead of a trip ds is going on.
We’ve got mil and my mum and associated family members coming round later for dinner this evening, roast beef with all the trimmings.
I’ll chuck on a couple of wash loads and change the bedding.
It’s a fairly standard Sunday here just with a bigger than usual crowd for the roast.
