Feeling rather emotional about it this morning.

ive had lovely cards from the girls, flowers and presents, and I’m grateful to be with them but I can’t help but feel like I want to cry.

anyone relate? 💐

Same, except mine are too little to know it’s Mother’s Day, so waiting for my ex to get here at 8:30. I already can guarantee he won’t even make me a cup of tea.
not helped by my 6yr old throwing up everywhere last night, bed changes, the lot at midnight.
ex is cooking a roast this afternoon, so I’ll go for a sleep whilst he’s cooking.

happy Mother’s Day to you, sounds like the girls have pulled it out the bag x

Sorry to hear your 6yo was sick last night! I hope the sickness stays away today so you can try to enjoy your day!

that’s nice you are spending it together. I’m seeing a friend this morning (her DH is working) and then we are off for a meal this afternoon with my family.

if it helps.. I made my own coffee this morning! Enjoy your roast and happy Mother’s Day to you too x

It’s my 4th, and I can relate. The early days of being a single mum are filled with uncertainty. It gets better, easier, and more positive.

You are doing great! Even if you can’t feel that yourself right now, one day you’ll look back and realise how far you have come.

Be proud of yourself today. Your children will never know what you have got through in order to do the best you can for them so they will never quite appreciate you ’enough’ but that’s not what it’s all about anyway.

Onwards and upwards you supermum x
