Can’t keep my eyes open past 9pm

I am always someone who has a good 8 hours sleep a night. I sleep well, exercise 3 times a week, walk the dog everyday. I work full time in a demanding office role which is mentally taxing, 2 teenage kids. Life is non stop and it always has been like this. I am naturally someone who keeps busy, if there is a job to do in the house I get on with it.

The last two months or so, I have been struggling to stay awake after 9pm. Last night, I was asleep on the sofa by 8, went to bed before 9, and had 9 hours more sleep!

I just had my thyroid checked for something else but wondering if this is something I should go to the doctors for? I’m 40, in good health and mentally well. I don’t feel tired during the day, but my family have noticed how much earlier I am fallling asleep on the sofa, or having to go to bed. Evenings are the only time I see my husband and I’m often in bed before the kids at the moment!!

Pregnant? Peri? Do you feel refreshed when you wake up?

Can you have a nap after work? I would be the same as you if I didn’t have 10 Minutes nap as soon as I get in.

Worth getting Vitamin D levels checked. Maybe iron too.

Defo not pregnant. Could be peri but no other real symptoms. Yes, feel pretty refreshed.

I already take a high dosage of vit d.

Not taking Mounjaro, are you? Because I could have written your post and am a former night owl who until a few months ago stayed up until 1am most mornings/ nights! I’m certain it’s the MJ meds as have read several others say it makes them extra tired too.
