Stain on wedding dress - help!!

I have been today for the final try on of my wedding dress from the seamstress and there is an awful stain that has appeared. It’s at the front of the dress and there’s no chance of hiding it.

she is claiming it must have been there when we brought it despite the fact I’ve been to her twice now to try on with my mum, plus she’s altered the hem and last time removed a small mark and also steamed it so there’s no chance it has gone unnoticed.

her attitude was awful, she didn’t have any interest in looking at the stain what so ever and claimed ‘I can’t even see anything’ whilst sat 6 foot away and made no effort to even stand up and take a closer look.

i can only assume it’s potentially stale water from the steamer she used between my last visit and today that’s caused it - does anyone have any advice at all on how I can get the stain lifted/whether it’s going to be possible?

wedding is in 7 weeks and to say I’m stressing is an understatement!!!

I have photos from when I purchased the dress and from my previous fitting which clearly show the mark wasn’t there. After checking her reviews in more detail it sounds like a few other people over the years have had unpleasant experiences where they have had their phone numbers etc blocked when experiencing issues!

Can you get someone to do some embroidery over it as an alternative?

Take it to a dry cleaning company, they might be able to clean it.

That does look like a water stain, what material is the dress?
Many moons ago I used to work in a dry cleaners, most wedding dresses unless they were silk usually cleaned the best with a gentle wash in a normal washing machine.
They would require at good press usually with an industrial steam iron though.
I would take it to a reputable dry cleaners to see if they can help.
