Can’t you beat this shit Mother’s Day “special offer”

Free entry for all mums to a soft play that is also a farm park, and is like the seventh circle of hell on a weekend. You still have to pay £15 each for every other adult and child to get in and if you’d like food it’s about £13 for microwave lasagna and chips, if you’re lucky you might get a seat to sit down on.

Why the hell would any mother want to do this? Is this the UK’s shittest Mother’s Day “special offer” or can anyone beat it?

DenholmElliot11 · 28/03/2025 21:08

where? show us.

I agree, it sounds spectacularly shit!

Ooh no that sounds pretty terrible!
Only one I’ve seen locally is a crap (and I mean truly awful) pub serving all mums a free toast.

ROAST! I mean maybe you could also wangle toast out of it too!

Morrisons are doing a “mum lane”
where you can put your groceries through, someone will pack them and you’ll get chocolate…ok chocolate sounds good but I have no intention of going grocery shopping on Mother’s Day!

TheCurious0range · 28/03/2025 21:11

😂 that is my worst nightmare

TheChosenTwo · 28/03/2025 21:11

@hjokhjjjkkkd that actually sounds like a thoughtful thing! And I don’t have any issues with doing normal stuff on Mother’s Day, it’s just a normal day for us, but I don’t go to Morrisons so I won’t be benefitting from it.
