Locksmiths, what would you charge for replacement gearbox on pvc door

So the gearbox on the locking strip needs replacing, not the whole strip on a pvc door.

How much would you charge for part, fitting etc?

DH is a UPVC fitter - he says the mechanism itself could be anywhere from £50-£150 but fitting it wouldn’t be more than an hours labour.

Were we live that’s £30-£50 per hour give or take.

Thanks, charged me £165 for new part which he had to go get, came back later and fitted, also re-alined the door and checked it all over etc. He fitted me in last minute plus all the others I rang couldnt come out till next week.

So probably about right then
