Primary schools in Hertfordshire

I am interested to hear about good primary schools in Hertfordshire. We are most likely moving to somewhere near Welwyn Garden City/ Hertford.
Would be very helpful to hear from local people about primary (and a few years down the line - secondary!) schools in the surrounding area.

I should have mentioned we’ll need in-year transfers so may be very popular schools will be a no-go due to lack of vacancies.
