Best child's savings / ISA

Hi I have 2 kids they both have bank accounts in their name but get hardly any interest I want to open an ISA but one where money can be taken our if needed. Which one would be best? They have around £6K each at the minute

You can't take money out of a Junior ISA. It stays in there until it matures at the age of 18. If you want access to the money then you'd need a savings account instead
