Please can anyone recommend a lovely afternoon tea, somewhere in London for a small group (all adults) to celebrate a 50th birthday. Maybe someone knows of a little hidden gem. I can imagine most places would be quite expensive, but ideally I’m looking for around £50pp. TIA

Afternoon tea at the Sanderson was lovely.

The Montague on the Gardens near the British Museum is quite nice and they sometimes do special offers. The staff are lovely and it's a nice place to sit.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the London Marriott. A great setting in what used to he part of County Hall.
It was a gift so not sure about cost.

Didn’t book in the end but the Ochre at the National Gallery looked good. Especially if you like Van Gogh.

I really like the one at the Wolseley.
