Has anyone found an efficient oil spray bottle?

I bought a spray bottle for oil at Christmas time and it’s useless.
The nozzle directs a stream rather than a spray.
It’s not the most urgent problem but I would like to not waste any more money.

Please share your wonderful and useful spray bottles! 💦

@IamEarthymama my OH just bought one a couple weeks ago and it’s been working very well. I just asked him for the link and will post it for you when I get it, likely in the morning. 🙂

Ours is great. Placemarking so I can look in the morning when I’m out of bed.

The Felipo Berio one used to be pretty good when it was refillable, but EU rules made this illegal. Which is annoying but I doubt that refillable condiments bottles was the sort of thing that motivated the people who voted for Brexit.

When my last refillable one got old and gunked up and I couldn't just get a new oil filled one like id done previously, I tried a couple on empty ones from places I can't remember but after a while seemed to go all clogged, leaky and useless so a waste of time and money.

Now I have a Lakeland glass oil drizzler so while not a spray, it does mean it can be used for drizzling on salad etc or for a small amount spread across the pan when cooking.

Thank you all for replying. ☺️
I’m very grateful as olive oil is so expensive, anything that means I use less will be fab!
im going to sit with a cup of coffee and check out your recommendations.

Hi I’ve just ordered the light blocking spray bottle as I would like to keep it on a shelf rather than in the cupboard.
thanks again xx

@IamEarthymama oh good. The light blocking is better for oil to prevent rancidity. Let us know how you like it!

Jings I definitely will, it’s arriving today.

Oh I need one of these.
I was using frylight but don't like the chemical aspect of it

JingsMahBucket · 28/03/2025 08:21

@Mynewnameis doesn't Fry Light also ruin people’s pans too? I’ve heard that a lot.
