I had to withdraw 70 pounds using a capital one/post office credit card this week and thought I'd be able to pay it back today when I got paid...but it's saying no payment due/no option to pay and now I'm worrying about interest and how much I'm going to end up.owing by the time it let's me pay ...any body able to advise? Or know how much I'm going to end up owing?

It’s just saying that because it hasn’t generated a statement yet - you can ring them and pay it over the phone (or do it online) and it should stop you being charged interest - or too much interest anyway.

Do you have any idea how long statements take to generate? I only opened the account last week and withdrew the money yesterday afternoon x

I don’t know if your card is different but every credit card I’ve had, if you pay the balance by the due date you are not charged any interest. So I would wait for a statement and then pay the balance off. The only thing I don’t know is if there are charges added for withdrawing cash. Hope you get it all sorted OP.

Most credit cards issue a statement every month.

Not for cash withdrawals with some the interest is accrued from when you take out the cash.

There will be an option to pay somewhere on the app or online have you looked up payment options? Keep checking everyday til you see a debit balance on your card and then try and pay.

For future reference it’s always better to keep cash in reserve for an emergency and spend on credit card for goods directly.
