Just that, really.
I'm thinking of giving a friend (who loves crafts) an origami set. I know there are some ready-prepared kits to make one or two things, but I'd prefer to put a set together myself with plenty of paper and a book with lots of projects.
I've found some beautiful paper but am wondering what the most helpful book would be.
I had one as a teenager and could do a few bits (flapping bird was my greatest achievement) but, every so often, I'd get about 2/3 of the way through a piece then there'd come some magical step that would seem to involve a fold entering another dimension and passing through itself or something.
I'd like this to be a nice project for her rather than a source of intense frustration.
Any paper viewers* out there who could recommend an instruction book?
