Where can I sell my Tiffany ring?

Do you think anywhere in London (or anywhere really) will buy my Tiffany engagement ring? It has a platinum band with a diamond solitaire. Original box and certification.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Bonham auction house. Check their website and send photo for valuation.
Chiswick auction house.
Note jewellery are about 1/5 of retail value unless it is a designer piece etc.

If you have good documentation, you could sell it on ebay. There are lots of vintage Tiffany pieces on there.

Both great suggestions thank you

I recently sold some fine jewellery through Bonhams. They were lovely & easy to deal with.
Mine was non branded so your Tiffany piece should do well.

I’d be nervous about eBay as so many scammers around.

Don't give it to lefty from mulberry street (Donnie Brasco movie).

There are a lot of independent jewellers in Hatton Garden, so maybe approach one or two and ask for a valuation of what they would be prepared to pay. It may turn out better than selling at auction because there would be no auctioneers fees to pay.

You can exchange it at Tiffany’s for store credit if you have your eye on something else.

You’d be mad to risk this.

Perhaps try a vintage and antique jewellers in Hatton Garden like Faringdon's in Greville street.

I got conned on eBay after someone ripped a jacket I had sold them because they didn’t like the colour (photos clearly showed rip’s weren’t there). I spoke to eBay as I had to return payment and I was advised they always side with the buyer because of PayPal guarantees, so to not sell anything of value. He may have been a disgruntled employee but I was grateful for his advice. Just bear this in mind if you sell via eBay.

You could try selling the ring through Elmwoods jewelry auctions. They don't charge any sellers commission and cater to a more retail market, rather than trade.

This looks like a great option - thank you.
