Spa day at home ideas please

DS age 10 is completely obsessed with going to a spa. Obviously he can’t until he’s older (I’ve tried to find one you can take children to & have drawn a blank) so has asked if we can have a spa day at home. I love this idea but can’t really think how to make it special. Does anyone have any ideas? Funds are low so it ideally needs to be cheap & cheerful. Thank you.

Foot spa, facial, mani/ pedi? Followed by afternoon tea?

Body scrub, hair & face mask, mani, pedi.
Candles, relaxing music, fizzy drinks, nice nibbles, robes.

Can funds stretch to matching white robes and headbands?
Face mask, cucumber slices on eyes.
Those were my daughters spa essentials when she was little.

When we do this we put spa music on you tube, foot spa, face mask & cucumber on eyes (kids love this bit) light some candles or get some battery ones and make some healthy smoothies

Fill a paddling pool with hot water for a hot tub experience?
Face and hand masks
Scented candles or wax melts
Very soft mood music
Infused water with mint and strawberries
Have timings planned or print a sheet to 'book in' for a mani/pedi/massage from you.

What is it that he likes about the idea of a spa? To me a spa is all about lazing about in hot bubbly water so to do that at home, you could hire a hot tub, perhaps offer it for his birthday or in lieu of a day out in the school holidays to justify the cost?

If he wants 'treatments' others have given ideas so you could do those on each other.

Plus mocktails and dainty spa food, whatever he thinks is appropriate. If you have a garden you could plan to do this when the weather is appropriately warm, which hopefully could coincide with the Easter holidays.

A bit drastic but you could get a hot tub in the garden 😂 (if you also wanted one obviously!)

My girls really like hotel slippers for some reason and fluffy headbands. Bubble bath with candles. Battery ones slightly out of reach. Get to use the expensive bath stuff. Hair mask and cucumber on eyes.

To add to previous suggestions
spa water - big Kilner with tap or just a jug with stuff infusing in the water. Put anything you like in cucumber, mint, citrus fruit and chia seeds are all popular.

Home made face masks - mash oats avocado honey etc

cleansing balm, scrub, then make

you can get hot massage stones cheaply in tiger or on amazon

definitely a spa / yoga playlist & some essential oils diffusing
