Broken shoulder

Please can I have lots of positive stories about how your broken shoulder healed quickly with no lasting effects or loss of movement?

Quite worried about how I will manage in the short term and also the long term prognosis.

physio physio physio

my dm fell badly stepping on a robovac and broke collar bone and a bit closer to the joint with the humerus.
4 weeks in a sling but first physio a week after the accident. full range back after 3 months or so.

all the best!

Yes, got physio lined up. Initial consultation on Monday.

Update: everything seems to be healing ok. Bruising is still fairly spectacular and I find the sling uncomfortable (after a certain point my arm seizes up and it's unbearable until I straighten it and move it around a bit). Not on any pain relief and managed to do a week's teaching before the Easter holidays (everyone was very nice and helpful). Have physio lined up but am gently moving it around and doing finger exercises to keep the blood flowing. Sleeping is awkward but not impossible. Two weeks down, sixish to go...
