2 wheeled scooter recommendations for 9 year old

Looking to buy DS a 2 wheeled kick scooter for his 9th birthday. He hasn’t had a scooter before (other than a toddler size scooter), he can ride a bike so think he will be okay with 2 wheels. He’s tall so have been looking Microspeed classic microscooter which has medium sized wheels (ages 8 to adult). Would appreciate any advice if this is a reasonable size scooter to start with or is it too big / fast fit for a first scooter? or any other recommendations?
Also looked at Microsprite.

I’m a scooter novice so any help appreciated.

😊

got this one for my son and I’ve seen quite a few boys at the skate park with the same one.

Thank you. From what I’ve read stunt are different to kick scooters although I don’t really know the difference! Maybe wheel size?

I have to admit that even after a Google I'm still not entirely sure what a kick scooter is however... my dd has had a Liferyder scooter for years now and it's really really good. The big wheels make it all terrain too.

Thanks, I’ll have a look at that one. My (limited) understanding is that a kick scooter is a standard scooter for riding and a stunt scooter is for jumps etc

I think they’re all one and the same nowadays. You don’t have to do stunts in them. But they’re a nice ride as it goes along easily without too much effort

Thanks, it’s quite confusing! 🙃
