I’m looking for a waterproof pouch for the beach that can hold phone, keys, cards and a bit of cash and is fully submersible. Can anybody please recommend a tried and tested one? Many thanks in advance!

I'm surprised that the ones I've seen people using for paddleboarding and canoeing are just a few quid from Amazon. I'm sure they're only designed for a 'quick dip' though. One tip I did see on a FAQ about them was to put a piece of paper in it and seal in, then place in a bowl of water before using it each time to check it's still watertight.

Thanks for this. Yes, I’ve seen the cheap ones on Amazon and the tissue tip, but I want one that is properly waterproof to go swimming with and am hoping for specific recommendations.

I’d like a recommendation too.

Thanks @HappiestSleeping I looked at that site earlier but nearly everything was sold out. At least I have a starting point now though. Thanks.

My brother has a phone pouch that you can even take photos with, never leaks. Was £30 though on Amazon.

Do you have a specific link, please?

Thank you. By the pool is fine because we just take towels etc and can charge drinks to the room, but on the beach I’d be happier knowing we can both go in the sea together without worrying about valuables.

I'm paranoid about the fabric ones. I have a decathlon one for paddle boarding but that's for emergencies only. For actually swimming, I would use a waterproof barrel with a dry bag inside, especially if you're putting documents in it.

Thanks. No documents. I’m not a very good swimmer so more likely to be dipping around in the shallows than being fully submerged very much.
