I don’t know if it counts as takeaway but I’m having an M&S meal deal, mozzarella and pesto wrap with cheese and onion crisps as a picnic on the train home (London to Devon) - very nice!

We're having sausages, smiley faces and cheesy beans! We absolutely love it as a treat.

Aww the love for FND has made me feel like I gave up on it too soon! Off to try again.

Probably cooking chilli but tired and very tempted to nip out for takeaway.

No I was tempted but DH made us burgers and then I assembled a coffee icecream sandwich and saved ourselves £30

I initially thought FND was a takeaway chain I haven’t heard of .

wish we had treated ourselves to a takeaway, we are mid way through a recipe we haven’t done before but the basil has gone slimy and tank at the back of the fridge and I took such a crap picture of the recipe in a friends book that we are missing the bottom of the page, playing fast and loose with sage and bread crumbs here.

I called my mate for help but she is out for the evening

We had a Chinese takeaway last night to celebrate some good news so tonight DH is doing some crazy shit with pork chops (to lean slightly into G&S).

I made a Pru Lieth cottage pie that also contains black pudding on my lunch break, the mince and sauce takes an hour on the stove.

Sorry you probably can’t get that delivered but oh is it gorgeous! The black pudding melts into the sauce and gives it such a depth of flavour and velvety texture

Shit on it!!

A chinese fakeaway, prawn chow mein, just for me as DH declared himself off fishing for the weekend (with a morrisons meal deal and a bag of mini cheddars 🤣) and DS5 has been solely living off spag bol for the longest time. No wine as have fat club weigh in in the morning 🙃

I'd have liked chicken soup, with a challah (plaited loaf) the size of a Ford Cortina, followed by a roast chicken dinner, or alternatively, fish and chips. However, we'd veggie stir-fry to use up so that's what we had. Tomorrow's Saturday though and DH is going to Sainsbury's anyway. . .maybe I'll add something to his shopping list for tomorrow night. Shabbat Shalom!

DH & DD had chicken and salad flatbreads. I had soup as I'm currently struggling to eat with a dental abscess 😢
