I don't know what you'd call him TBH, what is the "title" for an exclusive relationship of only a few months, when you're middle aged?. I'm sure I can't be a girlfriend 🤣
He's overseas for a few days on a part business part social trip organised by work.
When he left he said he'd call me tonight, which is nice but I'm not someone who needs that and if we'd just said goodbye until he got back, that would have been fine too.
He's been sending me photos of what he's up to all day, the most recent one at music gig in a bar. I'm thinking he's probably not going to call. He's with others, having a nice time, and by the time he's free, I'll be in bed. It's not like he hasn't been in touch and I really can manage without him for 48 hours!
OTOH there's a voice nagging in my head that if he said he'd call, he should bloody well call, which of course he still could 🤣
