God this has taken up so much of my time yesterday and today and I’m ready to explode! I’ve had an eBay account for 10+ years. Bought bits and bobs here and there over the years and yesterday I thought I’d have a massive clear out of my son’s baby clothes, took photos for 20+ piles of different batches and tried to sell them, first time of trying to sell.
Anyway I went through half the process for the first ad and then got an email to say my account had been temporarily suspended, went into my account to explore the help settings and shortly after got another email saying it’s been permanently suspended because of activity that is putting the eBay community at risk! As well as kindly letting me know that any future accounts I set up will also be suspended!
So after bloody ages of using that mind numbing chatbot I finally got through to the bit where you can contact an agent, and sent an email to their “customer services” email address but I keep getting the same automated AI responses back, letting me know again that I am apparently putting the eBay community at risk! I’ve gone through the customer services email channel twice now and have had the same AI shit response both times. Please can someone help me!!
