Vinted mix up of parcels. Help me sort it out!

I sold two pairs of jeans separately but have just realised the first pair has gone off to the wrong buyer. I have contacted them both to apologise but
how do I unwind this mess?
do i ask the buyer to send the jeans back, and if so how do I reimburse her for that? And how do I generate a new shipping label?
you can tell it’s never happened to me before. I’m gutted

Hi OP. Message the buyer who is set to receive the wrong pair and explain. Tell her to raise an issue as soon as they arrive. Once they've done that, you can then select a return and pay the postage cost (it gives you an option to either pay yourself or ask the buyer to pay - make sure you tell the buyer that you will cover the costs). They can then return them to you.
In the meantime, re-list the correct Jeans and ask her to buy them again.
With the other order, explain what's happened and cancel the order (click agreed with buyer). You can then re-list them for her when they arrive back with you.

Did you make a lot of money? If I sent the wrong clothes, I’d apologise tell them to keep or sell on and tell Vinted to issue a refund. Depends on how much you made vs cost of postage to correct the transactions.

Honestly If it wasn’t a lot of money I’d post second pair to first buyer and say to keep both refund buyer 2.

use the Vinted process to sort it out - I once tried untangling it myself and it was a nightmare. They can return the items with paid postage and then you start again.

Hi all and thank you for your helpful pointers.
I did message both buyers and they were both fine. Best result was that I managed to retrieve the parcel from rhe locker. InPost were excellent !
