What's really annoying you this week?

I feel so fed up today.

Am angry at the government about cuts that are outright cruel. I am annoyed that all my tendons hurt so much all the time and physio (which doesn't work) is all anyone can offer to help. I'm sick of living on 4 hours of sleep a night.

What's pissing you off? Share your rage and make me feel less like a grumpy old hag in the sunshine

I was sat in the glorious sunshine on the coast watching people walking on the beach and generally just chilling before I have to go back to my home town
Someone decided that amongst the 70 or so other , mostly unoccupied benches they want to sit on the same one as me and talk at me.
I certainly don't mind a " lovely weather " kind of chat but this person wanted to know where I was from , did I have kids ,do I work all within the first 3 mins of sitting down .
Bugger off and let me enjoy the peace!

Poor you, sounds a rough time. My gripe is my very thoughtless stepson, late 30s, living 350 miles away so don't see much, announcing a visit to our area next week. Not bothered to check we are free, we aren't, just get a casual "see you next time". We are so generous to him, always bailing him out financially, recently sent £100 for him to replace passport. DH bit hurt as we liaise before visits etc. Angry on DH's behalf, he is so lovely and kind. Unfortunately for DSS we are just refreshing our wills - he is not getting any of my share! Hope your day improves.

Also really fed up today / this week.

I haven’t been sticking to my exercise schedule and my diet has been all over the place. This is turn has impacted my sleep and left me with little energy.

I’m sick of cold weather and desperate for spring to arrive. The 2-week forecast shows more of the same: 10-15 degrees and windy. I loathe this kind of weather.

I felt the first bit of homesickness this week since emigrating from the UK last year. I miss the relative security and certainty of my life back in London. Life as an expat is more challenging than I thought it would be.

I have so much to be grateful for, but this week I’m just not feeling it, and wallowing in self-pity instead. Hopefully I snap out of it soon.

I know there’s worse things going on in the world, so this is just light hearted(ish)

This week I’ve been annoyed by the amount of dog crap on the pavements. There’s a few fresh turds, without fail, everyday. Our school run walk is constantly “oh, watch out for that one” “watch out, there’s some there too”
It’s just so disgusting and incredibly selfish, I don’t know what the owners are thinking. I would really LOVE to catch the scruffs who are not picking it up.

stayathomer · 20/03/2025 12:59

Hearing Conor macgregor wants to go for president of Ireland. Has the world not sunk low enough? We currently have a forward thinking, well cultured, Irish speaking past politician, who’s funny and loves animals. This to That Guy?! Wtf?!

Normallynumb · 20/03/2025 13:05

The proposed cuts to disability benefits. I’ve gone from frozen with fear to incandescent with rage

ffsgloria · 20/03/2025 13:07

People not using critical thinking to understand the point of Adolescence

Entitled male drivers (this is every week to be fair)

TeaAndCakeMakeThingsBetter · 20/03/2025 13:09

My sister. Rocky relationship generally but she thinks that she can say anything she likes to people but if they are then upset by the cruel things she’s said, it’s then ’their own responsibility for their feelings’ and she has nothing to do with that 🙄

Sourisblanche · 20/03/2025 13:15

Brexit has annoyed me again this week because if we hire a van and gradually move our stuff ourselves to our new place in France, we will pay import tax on our very old and dilapidated furniture and household goods. Looks like we will have to hire professional movers at great expense to do it instead. Or get rid of it all and buy new in France but I like my old stuff.

However the weather is flipping gorgeous todayDaffodil

WhatIsCorndogs · 20/03/2025 13:18

all the litter on verges, side of the road, public footpaths, around shops. it's getting worse and I'm getting angrier!!!

HelenWheels · 20/03/2025 13:19

one of our kitchen lights doesnt work
my car is at the garage

Topsy44 · 20/03/2025 13:22

Today is my non working day. It’s a lovely Spring day here. I would like to spend some of it sitting in my garden reading my book.

My retired neighbour will be out in his garden doing endless gardening (their garden is immaculate and imo these jobs do not need doing this obsessively) and fixing jobs outside. He is a nice man and I know this is irrational and it’s his own garden so he can do what he likes but why oh why does he do this on my day off when he has 6 other days of the week to do it!!!!

Its so annoying because he can see me over fence and I can see him so I can’t really ignore him (or if I do it’s just really awkward) and all I want to do is have a couple of hours peace without feeling the presence of him looming near me.

I do feel better for releasing that annoyance.

RabbitsRock · 20/03/2025 13:24

Got up early & spent nearly 2 hours emptying the kitchen cupboards only for the bloody cleaners to stand me up! 😡

RainbowZebraWarrior · 20/03/2025 13:36

The bloke across the road. When his sons lived at home the family had a total of seven cars and yet he took public transport to work and was always banging about with one of them. Usually when i was trying to get DD to sleep as a baby on a summer evening. Fast forward 10 yeara he's just retired and now spends all day on the drive hitting what looks like the wheel arches of his sons various vehicles with a hammer. I could actually choke the fucker. He's just thick as pig shit so lacking in awareness.

I need to win the lottery to buy a smallholding in the middle of nowhere as I cannot tolerate people any more.

And the government.

Natsku · 20/03/2025 13:42

I have pneumonia and the exhaustion is really annoying me. Also a sinus infection which was annoying the fuck out of me earlier this week but the antibiotics are kicking in for that now so it's not so bad.

Itchiness on the place my contraceptive implant got inserted is also really annoying me.

mumofnations · 20/03/2025 13:52

Same @Natsku pneumonia here, on day 11 of doing bare minimum because am out of breath all the time. I'm also a really bad patient especially when told that I have to rest and do nothing. Easier said than done with 4 children and endless washing, then feeling awful that I am not in work.

Elderflower14 · 20/03/2025 14:01

Hayfever... And a cold!!

Condensedmilkdrinker · 20/03/2025 14:07

I can't find a part time job around school hours, like finding a needle in a haystack!

PeachPumpkin · 20/03/2025 14:08

Tons of glowing reviews of skincare items from people who have been sent free items. Can’t trust them at all.

FaithFables · 20/03/2025 14:11

Peri being an absolute fucker. Been lightly bleeding for nearly 2 weeks, sex drive is zero, I have a headache that won't shift and I'm getting a cold. Oh, and my roots need doing and I cba. 😖😂

Enigma53 · 20/03/2025 14:15

Seemingly healthy people

Enigma53 · 20/03/2025 14:21

Oh and the fucking horrible old woman next door who keeps staring at me!

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/03/2025 14:23

Things keep breaking. Any spare money we save ends up being eaten by these stupid things that keep breaking. This week is the oven. Also every single bill being so so expensive.

DaphneduM · 20/03/2025 14:30

The stress of getting a GP appointment. Our surgery seems to be in some sort of meltdown - my husband was unable to get one a few weeks ago and ended up paying privately for some moles to be checked. I couldn't get one either when I phoned yesterday. I tried going through 111 but no joy, they said I needed to see the GP! Anyway they did send through a referral to the GP and I managed to get an appointment when I rang today. (I think having that referral on my record might have something to do with it!). So unnecessarily stressful with what should be a basic patient right.
