Had a Young Driver party with a few friends followed by a trip to McDonalds (we are in London).

PinkoPonko · 17/03/2025 05:57

Took 3 friends to an Escape Room, followed by pizza and gelato

Vickim03 · 17/03/2025 06:02

I took him and a few friends to a local archery place. Was booked as a party so a more interactive session. Back home for supermarket pizzas and chips then they played Mario kart on the switch

Sweetappley · 17/03/2025 11:05

It was my son's birthday at the back end of last year and we said we'd arrange something with his friends once the weather was better. Initially he thought about taking 1 friend to a zoo keeper for the day/feed an animal experience but he's changed his mind. He's decided to take 2 friends to a local adventure place that also has a little shooting range so they can fire guns at targets. Just need to pin them down to a date next!

He was supposed to be having a Virtual Reality gaming party and then a meal at a Japanese restaurant with a few friends, but the first Covid lockdown started thst week and put paid to it all. I think we had a takeaway, but that was it. The VR place have us a voucher but they went bust so we couldn't even do it after lockdown. He was just happy he didn't have to go to school!

Took two friends donutting at a local dry ski slope and then a meal at Spoons, when they had chosen I paid for it and then went and sat at another table with a book till they were finished, we took a cake and they had some of that and then I dropped the others home.

DS is still 12, but all his friends turned 13 last year. Parties were a mixture of cinema plus meal, go-karting, foot-golf, archery and escape rooms.

Not CP, just a local ish Premier Inn. Longleat was good yes.

The aquapark is a local one to us. I live in Kent and there are at least 4 I can think of within 30 miles drive but we went with Action Watersports in the Romney Marsh. They did all have a fabulous time.

LittleGreenDuck · 17/03/2025 12:29
