Is an 8.9m2 bedroom big enough for two young children?

Thinking of renting a flat. The location is perfect and the price is within our budget, plus I don't know if we'd get much bigger in the same area (Greenwich in London). My only concern is the size of the second bedroom. It's 4.450m x 2m.

Is it too small? It would be for a bunk bed/trundle, I could also do toddler beds instead, their toys and a closet.

Thank you

I think it’s doable. When we first bought the house we live in now, we had two in a box room!

How big is the master?

I'd probably swap and take the smallest room for me and dh so the kids had more space for toys and playing.

You're not going to get a double bed in a room that's only 2 meters wide though (at least not with any room to be able to get in and out of it(

I have twins in a room not much bigger. Bunk bed and small wardrobe. Lots of shelves for toy storage

We did this for a year or so when ours were 3 and 1. In fact it was probably smaller. We had a cot at one end and put the 3yo in a bunk bed with the bottom bunk removed. So then we had the underneath of the bunk bed for playing/ toys etc. We put most of their books and toys in a kallax unit in the lounge and it worked absolutely fine for us. For young children it's really just a room for sleeping!

My DS room isn't much bigger. The shorty beds are good if under 10 - half a foot shorter and narrower but makes the room seem much bigger
