Has anyone bought a uni textbook as an ebook?

I've never don't this before (in case that wasn't obvious!). I'm registered on a journal site with my secondary email address. My e-reader is registered to my primary email.

If I buy an ebook under my secondary email, can I read it on my e-reader?

It probably depends on your e-reader. Could you start the process to buy it and see whether it asks which email address to send it to?
