Think broke little finger last week.

Have broken it before but a lot of years ago, I really don't want to sit in A&E because it's completely not an emergency but I remember from the last time they x-rayed, confirmed was broken and told me to do the same as I'm now doing now.
I'm a week in and it's a complete ball ache but do I really need to waste NHS money and hours of their time to tell me anything I really need to do differently?
It is really annoying and hurts, strapped when needed.

Just strap it to the next finger.

Have you got a drop-in centre locally? Trying to deal with it yourself isn't necessarily the best idea. When I broke my finger, it took me a few days to realise it was more serious than I thought. I had to wear a splint for several weeks and had to be really strict about keeping it straight when I took the splint off to change the dressing or anything. I was told that I could have lost the use of the top joint.
