Not really sure the point of this post but I'm devastated and have nobody else to speak to.
Driving Ds home after school today and witnessed a cat get hit by a bus, poor thing rolled into the road then started flipping around everywhere. The bus driver and people on the opposite side stopped to try help it but I didn't want DS to see it so I couldn't stop.
Got home to see on the local Facebook page that it had passed away shortly after and I've been a mess since, that poor soul that hit it he looked devastated.

That must have been horrible to see. Many years ago when I was a young thing going on my first weekend away with my boyfriend, we saw a car hit a cat. Nobody stopped and the cat was stumbling around in the road. We stopped and I held it while it died sadly. It bit my arm badly too as i guess it was in pain. We tried to take it to a vet to be disposed of but they wanted a lot of money so we gad a makeshift burial in a wood. No collar sadly. I still think about that after 40 years.
