Anyone who knows east Kent pubs out there?

I'm trying to find somewhere for a celebration meal for 8 people (includes teenagers) in the wider east Kent / coast area. I've been recommended The Kings Arms in Elham or the Five Bells Braebourne. I don't know the area at all and wondered whether anyone has been to either and could help me decide...or recommend a different venue with a similar vibe? Thanks!

Both lovely, you could also look at the Marquis of Granby in Alkham or the Tiger Inn at Stowting. More urban choice of The Corner House in Canterbury or The Bridge Arms.

There is also The Pig at Bridge near Canterbury, Boys Hall in Ashford, The Ivy in Canterbury itself. All good with varied food for different tastes. Rocksalt in Folkestone is right on the sea.
There are a few Michelin star restaurants but they might not suit a larger group. Whitstable has the lobster shack but I haven't eaten there before.
What sort of thing do you fancy? Some of these places need cars to get you, others are quite near stations.

I also came on to suggest The Marquis or The Tiger Inn.
