The Tuesday after the Easter weekend.

Depends on the weather. Majority of state schools will be back to school, as their Easter hols are earlier however some private schools locally are still off till the Wednesday, and many people have the whole of that week off anyway.
Pray for rain to be forecast, and you'll be fine!

I would also say very. Plus you have tourists, kids w inset days, private school kids.

We have an inset day then. I reckon it would be ok… not as bad as in the holidays itself.

It's permanently busy really as on the days you'd hope it won't be you get other people hoping the same. I know people who take their kids out of school to go. Plus tourists, as PP have said. The best deterrent is rain!

At that time of year I used to reckon inset days were worse than the holiday, especially if it was nice weather.

There's a high chance that will be inset day for a good number.

I'd avoid and go the next weekend - almost certainly quieter!
