Getting rid of the pram - sentimentality

I had a beautiful Silver Cross coach built pram for my four babies back in the 80s which I walked miles and miles with. One in the pram, one on the seat attached to the pram and one either side holding onto the handle. I reluctantly sold it after the fourth and bought a replacement when my first grandchild was due. Tonight I pushed that pram, complete with broderie anglaise sun canopy out of the front door for the last time as it is being donated to a local nursery who use them, absolutely feeling all of the feels the sentimental fool that I am.

I get it.

They are way too big to keep, however, and it's much better that another child gets to use it before it gets too old / perished / outdated.
