The darts board nestled among the tin can decorated wall in picture 2 and the telescope for spying on the neighbours in picture 3 seem to add to the ambience somehow, too.

Photo 5 makes it look like you could literally fall out of bed and down the stairs. That handrail can't be up to code. And is that a bloodstained towel?

You know when Monica turns up to Rebecca Romijn's apartment (Ross's beautiful hoarder girlfriend) in Friends with cleaning materials? That's what I want to do. I want to send a skip and a few men in hazmat suits. I know it's 150+ miles from me but I cannot bear to be in the same country as this and I'm not that tidy.

Believe it or not that’s pretty expensive for a house that size in that area too.

After a bit of detective work, it didn't always look that bad. It was quite normal last time it was sold. And from the map it looks like someone really cared for the garden. It looks like squatters have taken over now though.
